Inspire Threads started in 2022 when my friends and I wanted custom bucket hats for a festival in Sydney. What began as something fun and expressive quickly turned into something much bigger.
As a university student, I saw how easy it was for people to feel isolated, even when surrounded by others. Inspire Threads became a way to break that cycle. Creating bucket hats that spark confidence, start conversations, and help people feel more open, playful and themselves.
From local markets and early mornings in 2023, to selling out at the Easter Show, winning awards, raising over $2,000 for charity, and reaching 5,000 bucket hats sold by the end of 2025, the journey has grown far beyond what I ever imagined.
Today, Inspire Threads has expanded interstate, partnered with multiple businesses on custom bucket hats, and continues to grow through pop-ups, collaborations, and community.
At its core, Inspire Threads is about more than fashion. It’s about creating something people can wear that makes them feel bold, expressive, and connected to the most playful version of themselves. Ive had people that go backpacking wear my bucket hat and have everyone they meet sign it! Random things like that makes it larger than just a product it becomes a memory.
